Trying to change the habits and behaviour that have built up
over your life-time is possible, but it’s not always easy and
it’s not always quick.
Undertaking confidence coaching will greatly increase the
speed with which you can make the desired changes. Consider
your coach as a personal mentor – your trusted teacher and
guide. S/he will help to increase confidence, help you to find
the path to the person you want to be, and support you through
the changes as you make them.
As you progress you’ll find that it not only helps you in
building self-confidence that will increase as time passes, but
it will also affect and improve your self-esteem, because these
things are entwined. The greater your self-esteem (how you feel
about yourself) the more confident you will feel.
As your confidence increases so will your progress towards
achieving your goals.
A coach is skilled in asking you questions that will lead
you to explore your ‘self’, find the good and positive within
you and show you what you already have going for you – things
you may not be able to see or believe at present.
What you will experience in a confidence coaching session is
a unique relationship with your coach in which the central
figure will be you. It will focus entirely on what you want for
yourself and your life, your feelings and your problems. And
there will be a level of support and encouragement you’ve
probably never in your life previously encountered.
